At least once a month is the quick and easy answer. I say at least once for maintenance if you’re active, training, moving quite a bit, having come back from a trip, about to go on a trip or even if you don’t necessarily feel something wrong with your body.
Though this might seem like shameless plug to get you to come into the office, even when we don’t feel anything is wrong, what tends to happen is that we get numb to the ways our bodies move and operate and since it happens on an unnoticed level, it becomes our “normal”. FYI pain while movement is NOT normal.
Of course, the more serious your condition the more you would need to see a chiropractor (preferably one that offers soft tissue work in addition to the adjustment), to help get you back to “normal” or what we at Endorphin Garage refer to as “zero”, a place where you can move and function without pain.
